The report also claimed that Maryam could get a chance to compete in the election from the NA-120 constituency in Lahore. Aside from that, Maryam Nawaz also has an opportunity to contest the provincial assembly voting from the PP-140 constituency.

Maryam has not responded anything behalf of herself and there is no official confirmation as well. A 2017 ranking issued by the New York Times also featured the daughter of Ex-Prime Minister to be amongst the top 11 influential women of the world earlier. She was also positioned as the most spirited and most influential woman of Pakistan. The newspaper report also claimed that she could be hailed as the most appropriate successor to the political domain that her father Nawaz Sharif had constructed.

On the other hand, similar to her ejected father, Maryam Nawaz also accused of an overabundance of numerous fraud charges. Reports have also revealed that court cases have freshly observed her family members be involved in multiple scams and conducting rounds to the accountability courts of the nation. Leaks have described her as “the owner of British Virgin Islands-based firms Nielsen Enterprises Limited and Nescoll Limited, incorporated in 1994 and 1993” earlier. She had campaigned for her mother Begum Kulsoom Nawaz during the NA-120 by-poll in 2017, when Nawaz Sharif had been disqualified by the Apex court of the country on July 28.
