Pakistan Origin Woman Arranged Her Wedding With A Jewish Man In The United States

According to the latest reports, a Pakistan origin woman recently arranged her wedding with a Jewish American National.  The Jewish news weekly also revealed their name and reported, Maliha Khan(33), a Pakistani origin woman, decided to marry Alan Cordova (34),  a Jewish American national in September last year. The entire occasion of their auspicious wedding took place in the seaport city of Seattle that is located on the west coast of the United States.

The civil marriage had begun with a Muslim ceremony that introduced a few South Asian cultural rituals including placing long flower garlands on each other and feeding each other sweets. The event was solemnized by a female family friend who also read some amazing Sufi.

On the other hand, the Jewish event had been solemnized by a childhood friend of Cordova.  They also performed the Jewish tradition of breaking the glass together.  The celebration also featured music. The song “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine” was played during the event and it also featured modern unrestricted text in English, Hebrew and Urdu.

Cordova remarked that his family was very supportive and open-minded. They just wanted him to find the right spouse with whom he could spend the rest of his life. Maliha also remarked that she also experienced zero resistance from her families and communities as well.  She also remarked that she was feeling delightful becoming a part of the Jewish community. She also talked about their first meeting and their visit to Tanzania, where they spent a great time together.
