(Bolingbrook)- Saturday, the Krishna Bansal (R-11) campaign for
Congress hosted a highly successful launch. Over 200 people were in
attendance at the Bolingbrook Golf Club, including more than 20
elected officials.
Krishna Bansal legally immigrated to America with a few hundred dollars and a dream. Two decades later, as a Naperville tech entrepreneur, community leader and philanthropist, Krishna is seeking the Republican nomination for the U.S. House of Representatives. Krishna is grateful to this country for his achievements and wants to make sure that same opportunities, and more, are available to everyone, that contributed to his success.

Among the many highlights of the event:

US Army Veteran and former State Representative/current 6th District
Republican candidate for Congress Jeanne Ives led the Pledge of
Allegiance. Later, she would publicly inform the gathering of her
endorsement of Krishna’s campaign.

Krishna for Congress Campaign Director, and Wheatland Township
Trustee, Raquel Mitchell then sang a stirring and passionate rendition of “God Bless America.”

Mike Reilly, a Naperville Park Board Member, and former Wheatland
Township Supervisor, welcomed and rallied the crowd on behalf of the
Campaign Co-Chairs.
Former Naperville State Rep., and 2018 Illinois State Comptroller
Republican nominee Darlene Senger, told the attendees that this was a
winnable race, and that Krishna would win, because she earned over 47 percent five years ago against Bill Foster (D-Naperville). And this year
Republicans, Independents, and many Democrats are fired up and ready for change. Ms. Senger is a Co-Chair of the campaign.

Republican National Committeewoman Demetra DeMonte gave the
keynote speech, praising the business acumen, community service, leadership, and diversity that Krishna offers. She also announced her
enthusiastic endorsement of Krishna. This is a highly coveted support
from a leader of national stature.

Krishna’s 17-year-old daughter Deeya shared a touching and heartfelt
tribute to her dad and introduced him to the audience.

“I believe in this great nation, its values and its constitution in the
entirety. This great nation has given me a lot, made my dream real. Now I want to work to keep this American dream real…for all of us” Krishna
stated.  His remarks focused on his major platform policy issues. These
are free enterprise, fiscal discipline, family values, and a firm foreign
policy. He was interrupted multiple times by applause.

He underscored his commitment for bringing the manufacturing and
service jobs back, incentivizing STEM and Trade education, and
streamlining the Legal immigration.  As well, he expressed support for
term limits and fair maps, that would take federal and state political
boundary making out of the hands of the politicians, and give power to a non- partisan and mu lti-partisan entities so that voters can pick
politicians rather than politicians picking voters.

Krishna also spoke strongly against the impeachment of President
Trump, citing the effort as one sided and partisan, and the overturning of an election without Constitutional grounds.

In a fiery speech near the end of the event Vasavi Chakka announced the formation of a grassroots group “Women for Krishna” to provide
volunteer support.

Other key Kick-Off Co-Hosts included rising star Congressman Darin
LaHood (R-Peoria), Will County Republican Chairman George Pearson,
