Twilight fans may still love Robert Pattinson as Edward the sparkling vampire but it looks like the actor has a new avatar coming up.
Pattinson is on top of the list for Matt Reeves’ upcoming Batman movie. The actor is currently in negotiations but according to the source, it’s almost a done deal as Pattinson was cast by Reeves even when the director was working on the script.
This will make Robert Pattinson the youngest man to play Batman.
Matt Reeves’ production will be The Batman, which was initially an animated series in 2004 based on the comic books. It was separate from all other productions and had its own continuity, along with a distinguished art style, winning numerous daytime Emmy awards. If we think about this movie being based on that show, the casting just might work out. But we can only wait and see.
Oh! And one of The Batman’s prominent villains is Dracula… we just had to say it.
Matt Reeves’ The Batman, potentially starring Robert Pattinson, is slated for a summer 2021 release and is aiming to hit floors this summer.
