Nepal is considered to be one of the poorest nations in Asia.  However, the nation received a special Christmas present from a Principal this time.  The children got a new school as their Christmas present from Gavin McCormack who works as the new Principal at Farmhouse Montessori in Manly. The man has spent the auspicious festive season by building a new school in Kavre in the Himalayas.  Sources have revealed that he raised $30,000 to build the school that has been unveiled on the Christmas Day.  This is the second school built by Gavin McCormack from Glebe.

When asked regarding the matter, he stated that he was planning something bigger and he still has a lot to do.  He added that it was such a splendid moment that felt like the most amazing feeling, anyone could obtain. He further told that he had spent the entire day painting with the kids who had never even seen a piece of paper. He expressed his excitement and added that they had finally built the school from the scratch.  The school has been named as Danfe Primary School. Presently, it has three classrooms, a vegetable garden and a chicken coop.

While talking on the initiation, McCormack remarked that the school would play a crucial role educating the children. The doors would be always open for everyone and a freedom that never existed earlier is aimed to offer here.  This was the first trip from McCormack to Nepal. He felt pity to see the severe poverty of people. He remarked that the previous school was like a chicken shed and been demolished during an earthquake. Later, he was offered a piece of land to make a school and he immediately accepted the challenge.
